A fine original folk art painting by Harry G. Bentz of Philipsburg Montana....born April 25 1921...died January 14, 2003. The painting depicts a mother grizzly and cubs approaching a cabin on the Antelopes mountain range. The woman of the house is watching them through the cabin window as the Cowboy is arriving home on horseback. Oil on board painting measures 33 1/2 inches wide by 17 1/2 inches tall without the frame. The painting remains in excellent original condition, signed and dated by Bentz.
