Description:
Complete Mauser 93 (Oviedo) small rings actions retaining the original hump on the rear bridge. These were originally 7x57 but work well with milder cartridges of similar dimensions as well, eg 257 Roberts, 250 Savage, even 375 JDJ Rimless. Not recommended for high pressure cartridges like the 243 and 308 Win. These may have some pitting and need some fitting of the safety to function correctly, but can be the basis for very nice light sporting rifles. Second run of photos show a 20 Practical in the making, timney trigger, leupold bases, stainless bbl, action mods done, that is a personal rifle not for sale. Separately, we have barrels, stocks, Timney triggers, and Sunny Hill bolt shrouds that will transform these actions into graceful compact custom bolt rifles.
