A nice antique #5 Marbles Safety Axe (Hatchet). The head is nicely stamped. Original handle...the blade safety cover is missing. The head measures just over 4 3/8 inches long and the cutting edge is almost 2 1/4 inches and very sharp. The axe head is tight to the handle with no play and no repairs of any kind.
