The receiver, trigger guard, forearm hardware and break lever are all engraved with tight floral scroll engraving.
The left side of the receiver is engraved with a dog holding a duck in his mouth with ducks flying away in the background. The right side is engraved with a dog holding a pheasant in his mouth. The bottom is engraved with game birds in a field, and the trigger guard is engraved with one pheasant in flight with another sitting The right side of the receiver is signed "LEGIERS".
The barrel has a single steel bead sight on a hand filed vented rib, is choked skeet/skeet and has 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors.
Mounted on a nicely figured walnut forearm with multi-point checkering and a round knob pistol grip stock with a vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad and silver monogrammed initial oval on the underside.
The shotgun retains 99% plus original blue and silver gray finishes showing a few light handling marks. The wood is very fine with some minor handling marks. Overall, the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
