Description:
A fine original antique wax seal for sealing letters and envelopes. The handle or stand is turned ivory with a beautiful grain seen throughout and the seal is coin silver and has 2 hallmarks on the underside edge. The seal remains in excellent condition and is circa 1820-1840. The seal stands about 4 1/4 inches tall and is about 1 1/2 inches thick at the widest point on the ivory. I also included 2 pictures of the actual seal it makes with regular red candle wax. USPS Priority mail is 10.00
