This NFA SBR SP5 is the real deal, made by HK Oberndorf, Germany, looks the way a true MP5 should look without the "WARNING REFER TO OWNERS MANUAL......Made in Germany" conspicuously stamped on the mag well.
NFA Registered as an Short Barreled Rifle (SBR).
The NFA paper work lists Hecker and Koch as the manufacturer not a third party.
You can't get any closer to an original select fire MP5.
The import marking, "HKI, Gambrills MD", is professionally engraved on the barrel under the forend.
Features the MP5 Diopter Drum Rear Sight not the "castle” Partridge-style rectangular notch rear site of the HK USA version. There are no markings on the A2 plastic stock. May or may not be HK German.
Ships in a large (38.5"x14.5"x5") HK marked plastic case with an sight adjustment tool, 10 round magazine and original user manual. Unfortunately, this manual is in German (gun was made for the German market) but I include a re-printed copy of the HK USA English SP5 Series Manual.
Shipping $65 due to large size of HK marked plastic case. US sales only. No sales to AK, HI unless you want to pay for the increased shipping costs.
