Description:
A beautiful custom made knife by the late Ron Frazier of Virginia. Ron was a master knife and sword maker and one of the founding members of the Knifemaker's Guild. He forged his own steel. Ron made only a few of these for a client (Hog Farmer) many years ago for skinning hogs. The mirror polished razor sharp blade measures 5 3/4 inches with an overall measurement of just over 10 3/4 inches and retains its original edge. Pinned slab micarta scales, green and brown in color. Ron just made a plain but high quality 3 piece leather utility style sheath to go with this skinner. This would be great big game skinner for the largest of beasts...bear, buffalo, moose and elk.
