PORTUGUESE MODEL 1885 KROPATSCHEK SABER BAYONET WITH SCABBARD BY STEYR. Long 18 1/2" yataghan stopped fuller false edge blade with in the white finish. Faint manufacture and date on back of blade(were hand engraved). Original quillon and guard with serial number and inspector's mark. Original wood grip panels held by original rivets. Scabbard with no dents or kinks with "WG" under crown?) on frog stud. Fits perfectly and does not rattle. Dark even patina with NO pitting. Nice accompaniment to rifle. Made by Steyr of Austria.
