Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are especially proud to offer this gorgeous example of Winchester's model 1894 decked out in special order deluxe form. This is one handsome lever gun, and my photos do not do it justice. The special order features include a checkered XX walnut pistol grip stock with piano finish, a 24 inch half octagonal, half round barrel, a Lyman 21 sight, 2/3 magazine, and she is a takedown. The climbin' Lyman is the only receiver sight accepted by Winchester collectors, and it is quite functional, to boot. Made in the year of our Lord 1912, this example of the most popular rifle ever made is in wonderful condition for being 109 years old. What appears to be original blue is still fairly strong on the barrel, less on the receiver. The highly figured walnut is fantastic. The piano finish shows smudges easily in the studio lights, but look great in the hand. The checkering is in good condition, and only minor handling marks are found. This gun received good care, as evidenced by the sharp and clear stampings. She takes down in about 15 seconds, and locks up tight just as fast. The action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is very good. A shorter than standard barrel is the least encountered option listed in the Winchester book, and the other features also add to the rarity of this gun, especially since it is chambered in .32 Winchester Special. This combination of special order features makes this rifle go off the charts in the rarity factor. The lower tang bears the XX wood rating and matching order numbers are found on the tang, stock, and butt plate.These deluxe versions have continued to climb in value at a remarkable rate, often breaking into 5 figures. I see Kevin's just listed a semi deluxe with a 28 inch barrel for 22 thousand. I will price this one for much less. If you have been looking for the right '94 to collect, for investment, or a classy hunt, but want the added clout of a multi feature special order deluxe, then look no further.
