1878 Colt Double Action 44-40 Caliber Revolver: The 7 1/2 Barrel is Stamped "Colts PT.F.A. MFG. Co Hartford CT. USA" on Top is Clearly Seen, And With "44" on Underside. Trigger Gaurd is Stamped "44 CF" on the Right Side. Cylinder Stamped "1" and "B". Load Gate Stamped "27" Frame Underneath Left Grip Stamped "27". Nickel Finish, Original Matching Numbers, Hard Rubber Colt Grips. Accompanied By 2009 Colt Letter Of Authentication Stating That The Revolver Was Originally Sold to Simmons Hardware Company Of St. Louis, Missouri On February 21, 1882. 44-40, SN. 77XX. Condition is Very Good, Professionally Refinished. Bore is in Good Condition With Strong Rifling. Mechanically Very Good. This One Is A Beauty. 35.00 Shipping.
