Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are oh so proud to offer this fancy version of a first genny Colt single action, decked out in fine engraving and nickel plate. Made in the year of our Lord 1902, it is hard to believe this wheel gun is 120 years old. She is in fine condition. The action works as designed, having 4 clicks, including the half cock loading position. Lockup is tight at rest and at full cock, the action crisp and smooth. The bore of the gunfighter length 4 3/4 inch barrel is also good, with plenty of shine and strong rifling. The icing on the cake is that she is chambered in .41 Long Colt, which only attributed to about 8% of SAA production. The grips appear to be original, with lots of honest wear, but still in one piece. Along with a partial serial number, a couple of names, a town in Oklahoma, and a date in 1926 can be found inside the grips. Lastly, the engraving is a sight to behold. It is very distinctive, with a bold flowing style. I could find no sign of a signature anywhere on this revolver. These engraved early Colts have continued to skyrocket in value, and they are a sound investment. If you have been looking for the right Single Action Army to collect or for investment, but want the added clout of an engraved gun in a desirable caliber, then look no further.
