A stunning set of sterling silver dessert plates hallmarked by Strube & Sohn of Leipzig Germany. Strube & Sohn were jewellers/silversmiths and made and retailed many items to the royal families of Germany and Europe. They specialized in the finest of luxury items. These plates were made in the 1st quarter of the 20th century. This is a set of 8 plates, each weighing 207 grams (6.48 ozs each). There is a heraldic crest engraved on each one, i havent been able to identify the crest yet. The plates measure 8 inches across. A beautiful set of plates that would that are fit for royalty and would enhance the finest dinner table. USPS Priority mail is 20.00
