This beautiful case has the etched and frosted Winchester logo on the curved wavy glass front. The etching reads..."Winchester Knives As Good As The Gun". This was one of the cases that was made for one of the 11 Winchester Stores that opened in the early 1920's. This case has the original mirror back on the door and its original nickel silver metal frame. All the glass panels are original, no cracks or repairs of any kind and the frosted etching is simply stunning. The original push button latch works fine and the 2 original spring hinges have never been tampered with in any way. The case measures about 36 inches wide...23 1/2 inches deep and 12 inches tall. Deep plush red velvet covers the bottom. The makers name plate on the bottom front edge reads...." Henry Pauk & Son...Makers...St.Louis Mo."
