Description:
A fine and rare original beaded choker from the Northern Plains Sioux Nation circa 1890's. This beautiful beaded choker has many key beads of the period including red white heart, green white heart and blue white heart in the typical Northern Plains geometric pattern. The top band is sewn onto fine linen of the period with silk ties. Top band measures 11 1/2 inches and the drop measures 12 1/2 inches. The top band and the drop measure about 1 1/4 inches wide. There are 5 single bead drops. A large background of greasy yellow beads also. A stunning choker with beautiful construction. A more beautiful and original example would be hard to find...Museum quality!!!...USPS Priority mail is 25.00
