A beautiful and stunning Gentleman's cane from the 1880's fresh out of a Northern Va. estate. The canes handle was carverd masterfully out of antique elephant ivory in the form of a collared American Bulldog with the rope disappearing into the handle, an exquisite design.Look at the detail of this relief carving, it is simply exceptional. It has a silver band below the ivory with the name "Samuel P. McClellan" professionally and period engraved. Ebony shaft with the original cap. Total length measures 34 inches. A beautiful and finely made American cane from the 1880's for the advanced cane collector. USPS Priority mail is 22.00
