This a a super scarce holster for a WWI DREYSE M1910 pistol, that was made in very limited quality for German Military and Police. The holsters were made to fit the DREYSE Model 1910 and the Walther model 6 in 9mm para, that were produced concurrently. The main distinguishing characteristic of this holster was special leather tabs sewn under the flap to hold an extra magazine. After WWI nearly all of the holsters were converted for a Luger pistol by removing these tabs and adding an external mag pouch.
This particular example escaped the modification and remains in its original condition. RG marked on the inside and has a maker mark on the back.
It is in excellent condition with supple leather and intact stitching. One of the rarest German holsters in existence.
