BRITISH VICTORIAN PATTERN 1821 ROYAL ARTILLERY SWORD AND SCABBARD CIRCA 1840’S-60’S. 41’ O/A. 32” blade with floral and martial engraved and etched motifs including Queen Victoria’s Royal Cypher, a Napoleon Canon and the inscription “ROYAL ARTILLERY”. Maker panel on the ricasso etched “TRAYLER & CO./PORTSMOUTH”. All original with the original sharkskin grip wrap and wire. Steel hilt with nice original patina and blade etching in excellent condition. Original leather covered wood scabbard. Extra nice original and quite early example.
