RARE LATE WWII JAPANESE TYPE 30 ARISAKA BAYONET WITH WOOD SCABBARD. 21” o/a with 15 ¼” blade with arsenal inspection stamp on the ricasso. Wood scabbard with metal throat and tip. Exceptional near mint condition overall. From an old Maryland collection much of which was acquired during and after WWII directly from G.I.’s returning home. Scarcity of metal in the last year of the War forced Japan to improvise accordingly. Superior example.
