Inscribed in old pencil on the paper backing “My own dear Horace/Fannie S. Beecher” and “May heavens loudest blessing/shine ever on thee and thine/ Anonymous”. Excellent Union labeled case. Image is of Horace J. Beecher who was born in 1828 in Bridgewater, CT. and moved to Ohio at a young age. Inscription is from his wife Fannie.
