Description:
- Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver, #290807, .32 W.C.F. (.32-20) cal. The Colt Single Action Army (also known as the SAA Peacemaker, or Model 1873) is a single-action revolver handgun. It was designed in 1872 for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1872 by Colt. Original finish. Lettering on barrel and reciever sharp.
- 5.5" round barrel marked with maker's name and address in one line on top, "Colt Single Action Army .32-20" at left.
- Has right-side ejector assembly;
- fluted 6-shot round cylinder marked "10 68" at front face;
- solid frame marked with the 2-line 1871-72-75 patent dates and "Rampant Colt" logo at left,
- has hinged loading gate batch-numbered "1830" at right, separate steel grip straps,
- 2-pc. checkered hard rubber grips having the Rampant Colt in an oval panel at top.
Condition is excellent retaining approx. 95% barrel, ejector, cylinder and trigger blue, 50% on straps, 85% mottled case colors to frame and hammer. Grips show sharp checkering and details, with three tiny fleabites at bottom edges. Action is crisp, bore is bright with sharp rifling. Visible serial numbers match (faint at butt yet appears to match); all features conform to this serial range; lockup is tight. Fully functional snd shootable.
