Description:
WJ Jeffery in caliber.404 Jeffery manufactured in the period 1920-1935 looking at the serial number.
The rifle comes cased in a period canvass and brass case with correct trade label. The case contains cleaning rod,brush and jag. Two turn screws fitting the screws on the action. Oil and vaseline bottle, selvyt cloth and leather rifle sling.
The rifle was made in England and so engraved on the barrel. The barrel is 24" with the classic Jeffery taper.The stock configuration is classic Mauser express with ebony forearm tip and silvers pad. The rifle has the classic type island express rear sights( 1 standing and 4 folding) Hooded front sight and sling swivels. It has 14 5/8" LOP.
The package includes also some documents supporting date of manufacture.
I can sell the new owner seperately reloading components( Hornady brass and Woodleigh 400gr soft bullets) as well as reloading dies(RCBS).
