It was made on Martin Bye’s 1895 patent and originally produced by Forehand Arms Co. from 1895 to 1902 when H&A bought Forehand. H&A produced this model with slight variations up until 1917 when they went out of business. This is a later version that does not have the push button barrel release introduced in 1905. It is in extraordinary condition considering its 100-year-old. Very few of these century old work horse guns survive in this condition. It is mechanically sound, locks-up tight, has good clean bores and the locks are crisp. It has 30” fluid steel barrels bored modified in both. LOP is 14”. DC is 1 3/8”. And DH is 2 3/4”. This will make a great addition to your H&A or Affordable collection. Price reduced from $700 Price: $550.00 Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Hopkins & Allen, Norwich, Conn. Model: 1895 Bye Pat.
