. An example of Remington Smoot with a 2 13/16" ribbed barrel and the exterior finish is grey and may have been cleaned in the past. Cylinder indexes and locks but some play. All ,]markings are clear and the black hard rubber grips are good with slight surface wear on the upper spine/. Some areas have roughness from finish loss. Overall another Ole' West .30 caliber rimfire revolver.

They often have been erroneously named Remington New Line Revolvers, even though Remington catalogs marketed them as the Remington-Smoot New Model Revolvers or the Smoot’s Patent New Models.
