Description:
A fine rare Luger from the BKIW/DWM Dutch Royal Air Force contract 1928 pistol 9mm, serial number 13929. Crown N Proofs on the barrel and frame. KL within a circle on the right side of the frame, GELADEN on both sides of the extractor. Brilliant nitre blue on the grip screws, front sight, left side spring, toggle pins with all matching last 2 digits of "29". Very strong straw colors throughout, 98%. Typical high quality factory rust blue overall with 98%+ original blue remaining. Safety marking with arrow up, "RUST". Non matching magazine, a WW1 wood bottom in nicely used condition with the serial number 3655. Bore is mint, as new, shiny with strong rifling and not a hint of any corrosion. All matching numbers throughout including the factory finely checkered grips and grip safety, numbered "29". This contract was the last Lugers for DWM. A fine high condition and rare example of this Dutch Royal Air Force Luger for the advanced Luger collector, serial # 13929 would be hard to upgrade. Additional pics sent upon request.
