TURKISH PERCUSSION DAMASCUS .56 CALIBER SHORT RIFLE CIRCA LATE 1800’S. 28” deeply rifled octagon barrel from an earlier rifle and with a very fine bore. Two leaf graduated aperture rear sight. Belgian lock and hammer. Maple stock with checkered wrist and steel butt plate, trigger guard and ramrod. Nine brass tacks in right side of butt stock. Very good working order and overall very good plus.
