An early (February 1973) Hart Custom Benchrest RIfle manufactured with Hart Single Shot Action (I thought a No 3 action, but I'm told it is actually a No 2). Heavy stainless Hart Barrel, etc. We just obtained this from an estate - rifle was special ordered for Camp Perry competition. Don't see many these days with hardwood stocks like this one. Serial number is 389. The .308 Norma Magnum cartridge was just the long range ticket after WWII and still holds a very dear place with many shooters today. I do believe it can hold its own with anything out there up to 1000 yards.
