Holland & Holland .577 Black Powder Express double hammer rifle. Non ejector, back action rifle with Jones under lever, extended tang and two triggers. Name and border engraving with 'Charge 6 Drams Case 3 Inches' on the left side of the action, 'Holland & Holland 98 New Bond Street London Winners Of All The Field Rifle Trials London' on the top rib. Holland name engraved on the action. 26" barrels with good bores and full length rib, silver bead foresight and one standing and two folding leaf express sight. 14 1/4" full pistol grip stock with grip cap, cheekpiece, stock oval, sling stud, rubber recoil recoil pad, splinter forend with lever release catch.
