About Us: Hallowell & Co. incorporated as a full-time, federally-licensed firearms business in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1983. In 1999, we sold our Greenwich building to Griffin & Howe and moved to Livingston, Montana. Our primary interests lie in high quality, artisanal sporting guns in fine original condition---single shot rifles, custom rifles, double shotguns and double rifles by the best makers, from the beginning of the cartridge era to the present. We look forward to being of service.

Description:
25" barrels with flat matted rib choked modified & extra full with gold-banding at breech.

Figured, oil-finished European walnut stocks with Deeley-release forend, classic borderless point-pattern checkering, steel-capped pistol grip, beaded pancake cheekpiece, rear swivel, and thin brown Decelerator recoil pad.

Coin-finished, floral scroll-engraved receiver with pinless sidelock shotgun actions that cock on dropping the barrels, double triggers, intercepting sears, cocking indicators and manual sliding safety just to the right of the toplever. Triggerplate rifle action cocked (and de-cocked) by robust detent-buttoned thumb tab on top tang, which also raises folding rifle leaf sight and which is fired by the front (single-set) trigger. Double Purdey underbolts, Greener third fastener and all hammers powered by coil springs around concentric mandrels. Secondary extending rifle extractor better to raise the spent cartridge.

Pull: 14 7/16". Weight: 9lbs, 2oz. Built 1990. Serial number 1 of a special run of 25 drillings commemorating Heym's 125th anniversary. Little used. With leather trunk case for two guns, with maker's trade label.
