Very similar to the very rare General Officer’s and may be a variation. The blade has the Gebruder Weyersburg mark. Blade is Beautifully etched is patriotic themes and even etched on the spine of the blade. Blade is in excellent condition. Hilt has brass spiral tapered grip. This sword has the distinctive urn pommel. Scabbard is gilded brass with engraving. Horstman is on the back of the scabbard near the throat. This sword only has two hangers and not a third like the General Officers. Very nice example
