This is the only site I use and do not plan to change. Description: This is a collector's grade 2nd model No 1 revolver that was made between 1860 and 1868. It has a 3 3/16 inch barrel and a silver plated brass frame. It is tight and works as designed. Mark Twain carried one of these on a trip to the west and afterward he said "I thought I was armed." The rosewood grips have no cracks or chips and the silver plating is about 80%+. The rifling is strong with some light pitts. Overall, a really nice revolver of the Civil War era. Antique, no paperwork. $15.00 shipping via Priority Mail. Price: $1,100.00 Antique: Yes |
