  • 4 3/4" smooth bore barrel
  • Captured loading rod designed for Cavalry / Horseman
  • Walnut stock
  • Brass engraved trigger guard & Pommel
  • Bore is excellent with no pitting
  • Made between 1800-1815
  • 9" overall length
  • Matthew Goggin was the gun maker and armorer to the General Post Office in Dublin Ireland and was commissioned to make Blunderbus' and flintlock pistols from 1811-1822
  • D-C 3542 on top of barrel
  • crack near wedge area on right side of stock which is usual for a pistol from this period. Wood is in otherwise excellent overall condition
