Description:
Here is a nice survivor from 180 years ago or so. Asa Waters marked percussion smooth bore pistol with a captive ramrod. Good solid condition with a decent bore. Action works perfecttly. Stock is complete with 2 cartouches which some one who knows more than me can probably read.  Lock reads "A Waters, Milbury MS 1838" I think. Barrel has JH with a P below- again the best I can read. I can't think of a good reason to do it but I would have no qualms about shooting this pistol with a modest load of black powder and the nipple looks new enough some one has probably done that in the past. A very nice piece of American history that will come right to your door in most states. Shipping included. NO TEXTS
