Description:
An original English made Birminfham proofs on the water table with 29 1/4" barrels, and choked at IC each with corrosion nearer the breech and the further forward bores oare cleaned.London Laminated Steel Barrels Westerly Richards syamped on top of the barrel rib. Hammers are matched and work well as do the firing pins. Left barrel rube half way down has a patch of surface corrosion from carriing the gun afield.The English walnut stock are good with a LOP of 14 1/2" and full visible hand checkering. The forend tip may have been replaced as it is a lighter colored wood. Locks have bank note chisel engraving and well marked , and the original butt-plate is browned steel. Overall wear but still a strong gun,When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
