Description:
Webley Fosbery Model 1903, Caliber .455 Cordite. Serial number 26XX. This large frame Fosbery was produced March of 1906. This is a target model with a 7.5" barrel, target sights, checkered trigger, and vulcanite grips. Gun retains approximately 95% original blue. Gun shows very little use, test fired only. Rarely seen is this overage condition. Gun was sold by Army & Navy Store Co-Operative Society Limited located at 105 Victoria St., London, on 10 February 1911. The pistol was eventually sold to Mess President then to Captain H. B. Roffey,  2nd Lancashire Fusiliers, on 3 May 1911. Records indicate Capt. Roffey was wounded at sometime during the War.
