EXCELLENT SWISS BERN VETTERLI MODEL 1878 BOLT ACTION .41 SWISS CAL. MILITARY RIFLE. 51” o/a with 33” barrel. Magazine with 12 round capacity. All original and matching with nearly all the original blue with slight patination. Excellent stock and forend with the original finish. Right butt crisply stamped with Swiss Ordnance cartouche. Perfect working order and exceptional bright near mint bore. Original cleaning rod but tip missing. Extra nice example. .41 Swiss is also known as 10.4x38 R.
