George Gibbs SxS Boxlock Shotgun
  • 12 bore
  • 28" barrels have been sleeved to accept modern loads
  • Boxlock action with scroll engraving with noted maker "George Gibbs" prominently engraved on action sides with border
  • Ball of action, lever, upper tang, safety, and all screws are engraved
  • All screws oriented north to south
  • Engraved trigger guard and fully extended lower tang
  • Bores are excellent and shiny
  • 90%+ blue on barrels
  • Concave solid rib
  • Single bead front sight
  • George Gibbs Bristol & 35 Savile Row, London W address on rib
  • Barrels ring true
  • Barrel flats have numbers .729, British and nitro proofed at 1 1/8th, 2 1/2 tons, #3
  • Action flats also nitro proofed
