Kettland Large Bore Flintlock Bag Handle Pistol
- Large bore
- Screw barrel
- The most magnificent example of bag handle or gentleman's pistol I've ever had in my possession
- Highly engraved with engraving at tip of screw off barrel muzzle, lower receiver adjacent folding trigger
- Left and right side of action is also highly engraved
- Right side clearly marked with British flag on shield
- Has a half cocked safety which is also engraved
- Powder cover engraved
- Half cock safety
- Hammer is also engraved
- Receiver screws still show extremely bright nitre blue
- Folding trigger extends when pistol is fully cocked
- Can be carried half cocked with powder cover down and safety engaged
- Walnut handles in extremely good condition with very fine checkering and silver inlaid escutcheon for owners initials on back of bag handle
- A very high quality gentleman's pistol from a noted London maker
