Description:
The CZ 75 is a world-famous pistol that has seen service with many countries around the world and has seen extensive use with both law enforcement and military. In the U.S. it has even been used by Delta Force. The CZ 75 caused a stir when it was introduced as it was one of the first “Wonder Nine” pistols, i.e. pistols that featured dual-mode operation. The pistol could be carried in the conventional Double-Action/Single-Action mode of operation or it could be carried in the “cocked-and-locked” format like the 1911. It also featured superb grip ergonomics which are considered excellent even by today’s standards. The CZ 75 took a great deal of inspiration from the Browning High Power introduced in 1935. As such, it bears more than a passing resemblance to that pistol. However, the 75 is by no means a copy of the High Power and is a great design in its own right. One if the 75’s standout features is its excellent ergonomics. The pistol simply feels “right” in the hand, as if it does not belong anywhere else. This is part of the reason for the pistol’s widespread popularity. Indeed, its popularity have made it the most copied handgun in the world save for the 1911. The 75 shown here is the B model. It has a 4.6” hammer-forged barrel, 3-dot sights, and a manual safety lever. This new-in-box pistol comes with its box, manual, and two 16-round magazines.
