We present a Winchester 1873 .32 caliber rifle. This lovely old rifle was manufactured in 1884. (Antique - no FFL required).
Most of the markings on this rifle are clear and visible. The Tang is marked “Model 1873” and the loading block is marked “.32 cal.”, which is also marked on the top of the barrel. This rifle has a 24" round barrel and the metal finish has a nice brown patina. The wood is in good condition with wear marks as expected for its age.
This rifle also features the Crescent butt plate on the stock and iron frame with sideplates, working action and standard sights.
Winchester is truly the iconic Cowboy gun and such a historically prominent rifle, and this example would be a great addition to any collection.
