Blade stamped with maker’s touch mark at mid point on both sides. A mark almost identical To this one is cataloged in Dudley S. Hawtrey Gyngell’s “ARMOURERS MARKS” pg. 75, row 3, second from left, but without attribution except being that of an Italian Swordmaker. Fine with mellowed bone scales having filigreed rivets with one missing. Excellent original patina with deep grey color and some minor salt and pepper. Price: $3,500 |
