Description:
This gun appears new with a few light handling marks in the wood finish. It would not be unreasonable to conclude that it has benefitted from a DelGreco restoration, as the level of finish is that good. The bores in the 28" barrels are mirror bright and both measure .730 9 inches from the breech face. The right barrel measures .729 behind the .707 choke. The left barrel measures .727 behind its .692 choke. I'd rate that IM and super full! The barrels are tight on face even with the fore end removed. This is a 1-1/2 frame, which keeps the gun lighter at 7 lb, 2 oz. Stock dimensions are very modern 1-5/8" X 2" X 14-1/2" to a skeleton steel buttplate. I would not want to set that butt down in a muddy duck blind! Wood and metal finish, including color casehardening on the frame, are 100 percent.
