Description:
A copy of THE ENGRAVED POWDER HORN // FOLK ART OF EARLY AMERICA, by Jim Dresslar, photography by David Wesbrook. This is a brand new copy, from the late Jim Dresslar's estate. He was a relic hunter and owner of the American Frontier Museum in Bargersville, Indiana. Mr. Dresslar had an outstanding collection of relics dating from the pre-historic period up to and including Wounded Knee. His collection contained a large and comprehensive display of, amongst other items, Trade Silver, Powder Horns, Indian Guns, Kentucky Rifles, Stone artifacts, Accoutrements, Frontier Knives, etc. He died in 2011, creating a void in our collecting community yet providing a vast number of relics to be passed down to present, and future collectors. This monumental work is in a result of his many years of study, a wonderful reference for any collector of early Americana. The dust jackets printed for this book did not hold up well in the shipping crates, and many show signs of wear.

DIMENSIONS: 12.25" x 9.25" x .96 Thick

CONDITION: NEW with some slight wear to the back of the dust jacket
