Here is a very nice Colt SAA available to add to your collection.
This beautiful revolver comes with a factory letter confirming a 1902 manufacture date and was .44-40 caliber.
It was originally shipped to Speer Hardware Company in Fort Smith, Arkansas and sometime in the 1930’s it went back to the Colt factory and was re-barreled in .38 Spl.
It has a 5.5” barrel with a blade front sight.
This revolver has amazing stag grips and retains much of the original finish. It does have some light wear marks that would be expected for a gun of its age.
It is said to have been used by cowboys on the Gang Ranch in British Columbia, Canada. It changed hands a few times, and at least once by way of a poker game.
The action locks up tight and the timing is as it should be. This revolver was imported and does bear a discreet import marking.
Overall, this is a very nice SAA and would be a great addition to any collection.
