Payment Types Accepted: USPS money order preferred, or check Description: Antique Remington rolling block 16 gauge shotgun. At some point in its life, the barrel shortened to 23 1/4". The numbers stamped on the upper and lower tangs under the stock match. Although not true serial numbers, they are assembly numbers meant to keep the upper and lower receiver parts matched throughout the finishing process, but still can be used to catalog and distinguish this unique firearm. The reciever is the same dimensions as Remington's #1 sporting rifle. It has the slimmer finished block and hammer spurs, and rounded sporting trigger guard. Would make a great start to a custom rifle if you wanted to change the barrel. Or find a liner to convert to 20 ga. or .410. The bore is pitted, and looks like it's 130 plus years old, but still shootable as is, with 16 ga. black powder ammo. $75.00 shipping Money order, or check.
