Here is yet another super uncommon box for a post war transitional S&W outdoorsman model.
Two piece box that was used only in the late 40s when S&W started making guns for civilian market again. This box preceded the Gold boxes used in the 50s. It is in excellent original condition with all corners intact with a couple of dents on one lid corner. But the maroon paper is intact everywhere. Very hard to find box.
