This is a scarce "Ideal" telescoping holster-stock for a Colt or a Smith&Wesson revolver. Very similar to Luger Ideal stocks, but much more difficult to find. Fully functional. Telescoping mechanism works well. Some wear to the leather - scratches, minute holes, etc - and to metal as per pictures. "Patent pending" impressed in the metal. You would need a pair of metal plates to put under the grips of your gun in order for the stock to attach. These can be made to fit your gun. Made at the turn of the century in limited numbers. A super scarce accessory.
