Three of my USGI Original M1 Carbine Stocks are Dark Walnut Wood and come with matching handguards. They have been refinished as close to the original color and a Tung Oil Finish. There are no cracks, gouges, splits, repair pins, filler, damage, or splicing to any of these stocks. Some have minor evidence of service use. The tang and escutcheon areas are not cracked or missing wood. I do not remove the escutcheons because of the probability of damaging the wood. These stocks are from fully functioning M1 Carbines and all of the USGI metal hardware fits.
I will list the stocks descriptions in the text below. Reference the pictures that correspond to the designated letter in this text. If you are further interested I can email you more pictures of any of the stocks.
The last stock I will list; not part of the five USGI stocks, is a good reproduction of an M1 Carbine stock with High Wood. The Hand Guard is an original. I will price it accordingly.

G. - HIGH WOOD REPRODUCTION Oval Cut. There are no identifying stampings or Cartouches. Barrel Channel is 4 3/8".
Hand Guard is Tyoe 3 with no stampings. This stock is a good reproduction of the USGI M1 Carbine Stock and has a very
nice finish. Hard to tell the difference. $250
