Winchester Model 21 20 gauge SxS shotgun. 28” solid rib barrels, choked M/F.
When looking at this gun you cannot help but have your gaze drawn to the wood! Truly one of the nicest American Walnut stocks that I have ever seen. Configured in straight grip with a 14 3/8” LOP over a full leather pad and finished in a hand rubbed oil with 1 ½” DAC and 2 1/8” DAH with a slight, ¼” LH cast. The forearm is serial numbered to the gun. The stock may be original, but I suspect that when this gun was (very) professionally restored, it was restocked.
With a serial number of almost 31,000 this gun must have been made in the late 1960’s so with the changes that were happening at Winchester, the finishes might be original, but I think it has been restored.
