Confederate Richmond Type II .58 caliber musket, 1863 dated in honest unmolseted condition. There is a soldiers name carved on the left-side of the butt stock. Action functions correctly with erosion around the tang. The Richmond muskets were used up until the end of Civil War with 1863 being the highest production year.
