Lebeau Courally, Armes De Grand Luxe a Liege, A 12 Bore Boxlock Ejector Game Gun Made in 1977 that remains original and overall in excellent condition, 27 5/8" Ejector Chopper Lump Acier Steel barrels with a hidden third bite, 27 5/8" Ejector Chopper Lump Acier Steel barrels with a hidden third bite, .727 .004 & .013" (Skt.I & Open Mod.), 2 3/4" chambers, Original bore size as proved, 1.324 KG weight barrels, Gold plated Double triggers with the front articulated, Splinter forend with a frontal Anson release, Straight hand stock at 14 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 7/16" over a checkered butt, Cast-off for the right hand, Great game gun weight at 6 lbs. 6 oz., It has 5 locking screws on key screws, 75% coverage of very well cut floral and scroll engraving on a soft coin finished frame, Very Nice piece of European Walnut with nice contrast, This piece is with original barrel blue at 94%, The coin finished frame at 96%, The stock and forend at 96%, The checkering at 98%, The barrels inside & out are excellent plus, They ring with a very pronounced chime. Here is a Classic Belgium game gun with the proper size action body and barrels for 12 Bore shooting at only 6 lbs. 6 oz. and handles like a 20 bore. In 2015 Lebeau Courally celebrated their 150th anniversary. Auguste Lebeau started the firm in 1865 and joined later in 1896 with Ferdinand Courally. They achieved remarkable success with numerous medals at top-level exhibitions in many countries. In 1956 the renowned Belgium Gunmaker Joseph Verrees took the reins at Lebeau Courally. In 1982 the tradition continued by the fourth generation, Anne-Marie Moermans-Ramakers, Verrees’ niece. She further developed the creation of luxury hunting pieces.
